Zopa
Zopa started in 2005 as the world's first peer-to-peer lender and became a bank in 2020. Today it is a UK digital bank authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority with 1.5 million customers, more than GBP 13 billion lent and more than GBP 5 billion of savings balances, all run through an app. The consumer range is the current account called Biscuit, savings and cash ISAs, personal loans, a credit card, car finance and investing. For companies there is a separate business side selling payment acceptance, retail finance, auto finance and embedded finance to merchants, with 700 businesses using it. There is no business current account.
