Wolt License Services Oy is not a bank and does not sell business accounts. It is the payment institution inside the Wolt delivery platform, supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, and it exists so that Wolt can legally take money from consumers in its app and pay it on to the restaurants, shops and couriers on the platform. A merchant meets this company only as the counterparty that pays out its sales: to receive money it must pass Wolt's know your customer checks, giving a trade registry extract less than three months old, electronic identity verification, IBAN details and ultimate beneficial owner information for anyone holding 25% or more. There is no account product, no card, no lending and no published pricing for third parties.
