Wio Bank
Wio Bank is a digital bank in Abu Dhabi that holds a commercial banking licence from the Central Bank of the UAE and started operating in September 2022. It offers Wio Business for companies and freelancers, Wio Personal for individuals, and investing through Wio Securities LLC, a broker licensed by the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority. At 31 December 2025 it held AED 61.08 billion in assets and AED 57.29 billion in customer deposits, and it made a net profit of AED 621.7 million, with Wio Business serving 120,000 entities. Business accounts cost AED 99 or AED 249 per month with no minimum balance and include free accounts in six foreign currencies. The bank serves UAE-registered companies only, and its standard terms say a current account may only be opened and maintained by a resident of the UAE.
