Western Alliance Bank
Western Alliance Bank is an Arizona state member bank that grew out of Las Vegas in 1994 and now runs almost entirely on business banking. It held USD 98.6 billion of assets and USD 82.3 billion of deposits at 30 June 2026 from only 38 offices, because deposits come from named industry practices rather than a branch network. Those practices include technology and life science startups through Bridge Bank, homeowner associations, gaming operators, legal settlement services, entertainment finance, aerospace and defence, food and agriculture and mortgage warehouse lending. The parent trades on the NYSE as WAL and reported a CET1 ratio of 11.0% and net income of USD 268.8 million for the second quarter of 2026.
