SEB is Sweden's largest bank by assets and market value, controlled by the Wallenberg family through Investor AB. It is a full-service bank in Sweden and the three Baltic states, where it serves about 130,000 small and medium-sized companies, and a corporate and investment bank in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Germany and the United Kingdom. A Swedish business account costs 60 kronor per month with a free bankgiro number. Finansinspektionen fined SEB 1 billion kronor in 2020 for anti-money-laundering deficiencies in the Baltics. The bank reported a CET1 ratio of 17.2 percent in Q2 2026.

5.0On-ramp: buy crypto with fiat
An April 2026 hands-on guide reports a SEPA transfer from an SEB personal account to Kraken cleared in one business day with no flags and no public blocklist, but large or frequent transfers can trigger review, the evidence is retail, and SEB keeps a restrictive stance on crypto. · source

Startups use the standard 60 kronor per month business account with no venture-specific products. · source
