Scalable Capital
Scalable Capital is a Munich investment platform that runs a discount broker and a discretionary portfolio service for private individuals in six European countries. Its banking arm, Scalable Capital Bank GmbH, received a full credit institution authorisation from the European Central Bank on 10 September 2025 and now takes deposits and lends against portfolios. For businesses the answer is short: Scalable states plainly that a business account cannot be set up and that custody accounts for legal entities such as a GmbH, Ltd or LLC are not supported. Companies looking for an operating account, cards, payments or foreign exchange will find none of it here.
