Rippling Payments Ireland
Rippling is a San Francisco software company selling HR, IT, payroll and spend management on one platform. Rippling Payments Ireland Limited is its Irish subsidiary and the part that is regulated: the Central Bank of Ireland authorised it as an e-money institution on 6 January 2025 under reference C513978, and it holds freedom of service passports into 29 other EEA states. Its authorised payment services are narrow, covering only the execution of direct debits and of credit transfers, which is what payroll needs. Rippling describes it as the first HCM platform and payroll provider to hold an EMI licence, and its purpose is to pay employees and contractors inside the Rippling product rather than through manual bank file uploads. This is not a business bank and Rippling publishes no prices, no currency list and no acceptable use policy for it.
