Open in Bank Index

PPS EU SA is the Brussels-based electronic money institution behind Edenred Payment Solutions, formerly PrePay Solutions. It holds an e-money licence from the National Bank of Belgium granted in September 2019, carries company number 0712 775 202 and BIC PESOBEB1, and passports across Europe. It does not sell business bank accounts to companies directly. Instead it supplies card issuing, e-money accounts, payment processing and APIs to other companies, which run the customer-facing brand as its agent or distributor, and it names Tide, Monese, thinkmoney, Sainsbury's, Ticketmaster and TUI among the businesses using it. Customer money is safeguarded in a segregated account at an authorised bank or covered by insurance rather than protected by a deposit guarantee scheme.

5.0Online businesses: e-commerce and SaaS
Gift card and retail are two of the named use cases, with Sainsbury's, Ticketmaster, New Look and Virgin Experience Days shown as clients, but there is no merchant acquiring or multi-currency collection account. A configurable API suite for accounts, cards and payments is the core product, but there is no receiving account for a software company's own revenue and no recurring-revenue financing. · source
4.0Startups & VC-backed companies
EPS says it supports both regulated and unregulated companies and lets them reach market as its agent, but it offers no lending, no equity and no pre-revenue programme. · source
4.0Customer satisfaction
Trustpilot holds no profile for eps.edenred.com, so there is no public review record for the entity itself; end users review the client brand instead. · source
3.5Lowest fees
No price list is published anywhere on the site; every product and industry page routes to a Get in touch form instead of a rate card. · source

2.5On-ramp: buy crypto with fiat
Evidence is thin but points one way: a programme running on PPS EU accounts, Green-Got, lists financial activity involving crypto-currencies among prohibited activities, and a bank profile says PPS EU does not support crypto-related businesses or transactions, though no PPS EU rule on single transfers to exchanges was found. · source
2.0Best interest on business balances
Customer money is safeguarded in a segregated account or covered by insurance, and EPS publishes no interest, sweep or treasury yield product. · source
2.0Off-ramp: crypto to fiat in a business account
PPS EU publishes no source-of-funds process for crypto proceeds, and the same partner terms bar crypto-currency activity on its accounts, so a company should not expect it to take in exchange proceeds; evidence is thin. · source
1.5Trade, manufacturing & import-export
