Pictet Group
Pictet is a Geneva partnership founded in 1805 that does wealth management, asset management, alternative investments and asset servicing. It runs no investment bank and extends no commercial loans, so it sells no business current accounts, no cards and no trade finance. At 30 June 2026 it held CHF 810 billion of assets under management or custody, on a balance sheet of CHF 46.6 billion, with 5,612 staff in 31 offices. Banque Pictet & Cie SA is rated AA- by Fitch and Aa2 by Moody's, and the Group total capital ratio was 21.9% against a 12% FINMA requirement. Pictet paid USD 123 million to the US Department of Justice in December 2023 over hidden American client accounts, and the Swiss Attorney General fined it CHF 2 million in June 2025 in the Petrobras money laundering case.
