Nubank
Nubank is a Sao Paulo digital bank founded in 2013 that served 131 million customers in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia at the end of 2025, with total assets of US$74.9bn and revenue of US$16.3bn. In Brazil it operates through Nu Pagamentos, a payment institution, and Nu Financeira rather than a full bank licence; Nu Mexico was authorised as a bank in July 2026 and a US national bank received conditional OCC approval in January 2026. Its Nu Empresas business account for Brazilian CNPJs has no maintenance fee, free unlimited Pix and TED, a no-fee business credit card and working capital loans, but no international payments.
