John Deere Bank S.A.
John Deere Bank S.A. is a captive bank, not a bank that sells accounts. Established in Luxembourg in 2000 and wholly owned through John Deere Financial by Deere & Company, it exists to finance the buyers of John Deere agricultural, construction, forestry, turf and utility machinery in Europe and the CIS. Its products are loans, finance leases, operating leases and contract hire, plus the SmartLine credit line for parts and precision technology. It reported EUR 3,342 million of total assets and EUR 33 million of profit for 2025 with 157 staff, making it the 35th largest bank in Luxembourg. Deposits are covered by the Luxembourg guarantee scheme up to EUR 100,000.
