Econt Financial Services is the payments company of Econt, the Bulgarian courier group, and holds a Bulgarian National Bank electronic money licence granted on 10 June 2021. Its product is Ecoints, a mobile wallet with a personal euro IBAN and a Visa debit card. The wallet exists mainly to pay for Econt parcels, to collect cash on delivery without going to an office and to send money between users. It serves adult individuals with a Bulgarian ID card and a Bulgarian phone number, so a company cannot open an account with it at all. Cash is paid in and taken out at Econt Express offices, which act as registered agents.
