Customers Bank
Customers Bank is a Pennsylvania state-chartered bank and Federal Reserve member owned by NYSE-listed Customers Bancorp, Inc., with USD 26.5 billion of assets and USD 21.7 billion of deposits at 30 June 2026. It runs only seven branches and reaches business clients nationally through relationship teams and its in-house payments platform cubiX, which moves money over wire, ACH, RTP and FedNow 24 hours a day. Digital asset firms are its largest deposit concentration, supplying 78 percent of cubiX deposit balances in the second quarter of 2026. The bank has no foreign currency accounts, no trade finance and no correspondent banking service. In August 2024 it signed a written agreement with the Federal Reserve and accepted a consent order from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities over compliance risk management, including its digital asset business.
