Credit One Bank
Credit One Bank, National Association is a nationally chartered bank headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, wholly owned by Sherman Financial Group through Credit One Financial. It was founded in 1984 as First National Bank of Marin in California, received a credit card bank designation in 1996, moved to Las Vegas in 1998 and was renamed Credit One Bank after Sherman Financial Group's 2005 acquisition. The bank reports more than 40 million cardmembers and offers cash-back and points credit cards mainly to near-prime and subprime consumers, plus high-yield certificates of deposit and savings accounts. It publishes no small business or commercial banking product of any kind.
