ClearBank
ClearBank is a UK clearing bank that sells accounts, payment scheme access and FX to other regulated firms rather than to the public. Its clients include Revolut, Tide, Coinbase, Chip, Capital on Tap and LemFi, and it held GBP 17.8 billion of customer deposits across 17.1 million accounts at the end of 2025. It is a direct participant in Faster Payments, Bacs, CHAPS and the Image Clearing System, and its Dutch subsidiary ClearBank Europe N.V. holds an ECB banking licence with direct SEPA Instant and T2 access. In April 2026 ClearBank Europe became the first Dutch credit institution to complete a MiCAR notification with the AFM, which lets it offer the Circle stablecoins EURC and USDC to clients. The UK bank made GBP 12.2 million of profit before tax in 2025 while the group posted a loss after tax of GBP 15.8 million.
