The register calls Acorns a bank with an e-money licence. It is neither. Acorns is a Californian consumer app, registered with the SEC as an investment adviser, that rounds up card purchases and invests the change into ETF portfolios, retirement accounts and custodial accounts for children. Its checking and savings accounts are supplied by Lincoln Savings Bank or nbkc bank, both FDIC members, and insured up to USD 250,000. It is sold as a monthly subscription: Bronze at USD 4, Silver at USD 8 and Gold at USD 12 a month. There is no business account, no company card and nothing at all aimed at a company: this is a personal and family product.
